And, the external drive started working again -- no more error -36's.I plugged all the devices back in, one by one, and it still works OK, even after a restart.And, I I have deleted them from within lightroom and copied back back ups so we will see if this solves the problem. If these appear at all, then it suggests your drive is failing either from controller malfunction, or failing storage media.
