I run the full Microsoft Security Essentials program almost every other day, and only recently downloaded that on a recommendation from a very knowledgeable repair guy who was helping me install This has been going on for about a month now.

Nothing was working, so I wiped everything out, re-formatted and re-installed Windows and everything. Then press enter on your keyboard to boot into Safe Mode. This happens in explorer.

Did we mention that it's free.

Posted 08 January 2011 - 10:32 AM I am almost certain I do not have any virus. I ended up doing a complete reformat of my hard drive. DCOM is indicating some problems and ASP_NET has been an issue. Most of my time on the internet is on two boating forums I participate in...and a few other tech research sites....no porn sites,etc.
